Welcome Green Lagosians It is a great honour to speak with fellow Lagosians who wish to see great things happen in our country at this moment. I welcome you!
As the inaugural e-governor, my roles is to prepare room for subsequent e-governors as I may have to step aside after this first term.
I believe we are at a defining moment in the milestone of our country in general and Lagos state in particular. The role of e-governor is to compliment the government's effort by continuously enlighten the public, advising the government base on people expectation and making impact in the state.
The development around Lagos is noteworthy; hence sustainance of this momentum is of high importance to all citizens of this state.
Programmes for this term
Let me highlight below some of the things I want to get done before I complete this term. Remember, its to prepare the ground for you!
- + Meet with top Leadership Trainers in the Country: I have heard time and again that our problem in this country is leadership yeah, to a great extend I agree with this claim, but the question is what are we doing to it? Our we developing leaders for the next generation? Our we equiping them with tools for effective leadership? I think the answer is NO. We this, as the e-governor you will have priviledge of being coached/mentored by best leadership thinkers in the country.
- + Meet with the ministry of information and strategies: Well, it is of no effect if we make noise online and no tangible effect on the general public. All recommendation by the e-governor will be forwarded to the government for consideration and implementation.
- + Select a youth development programme for sponsorship: I believe in youth development, and as you know youth remains the key to our competitiveness as a nation in this century, hence continuous development and empowerment is very important. This could be in form of publicity or grant.
I will say, I don't want to promise too much but I believe with the help of the community here, we can get to achieve a better impact in this state. So your ideas, suggestion and recommendation are EXTREMELY needed. Drop you comments below for us to reason together.
